I am a novelist, culinary enthusiast, and marketing expert. My writing is fueled by a love of history and a passion for the food, language, and culture of Italy.

I have taught writing, creativity and social media at UMass BostonBoston UniversityMass College of Art, and Harvard Extension School. I often teach classes on social media for authors at Grub Street, one of the most amazing writing communities in the country.

A Pushcart Prize–nominated poet and former co-editor of the (now defunct) online literary arts journal Plum Ruby Review, I received my M.A. in critical and creative thinking from UMass Boston, where I developed a series of exercises and writing prompts to help fiction writers in medias res.

I live in Boston but grew up in the Pacific Northwest (Spokane, Seattle, Boise). My husband, my shining star, is a French-Acadian/Italian who is a fantastic chef and visual artist.

I also work in the world of social media, AI, marketing, and community management. Note that the statements included here on this site do not reflect the opinions or attitudes of any of my employers.
